Welcome to Little Bird's Nest Pre-school. 

 

The pre-school is formally known as Nursery Lane Preschool which was owner by Pat Davis. Nursery Lane sadly closed in December 2020. It has been taken over and the new manager Clare Harding is opening it on the 6th September 2021.

The pre-school here, based at St Anne's church hall has been running for the past 30 years, serving the local community. Children from the pre-school then move on to the local schools in the area, St Anne's Fulshaw, Gorsey Bank, Ashdene and Lindow Primary to name a few.

The pre-school is registered with Ofsted. It is open every day, Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 9:00am to 12:00, term time only.

Our Vision:

To provide a child centred, secure and happy environment, giving children the time to explore and discover. Offering exciting and stimulating opportunities to learn through play which are influenced from many different approached. Delivered and supported by qualified, experienced and caring staff who will help your child achieve their full potential.

The Pre-School is  large church hall and a wonderful spacious outdoor play area.  The pre-school is a pack away which has a big advantage, because the staff are constantly reflecting and reviewing of the environment that is being provided for the children. It also allows scope for the children to have a say in how the environment is set up and where the activities will be go.

• To reflect upon the enabling environment and practice.
